Open Atelier Request

For whom?

The Open Studio is exclusively for advanced ceramicists who are already familiar with the basic techniques of wheel throwing or hand-building and can work independently. Ceramicists looking for their own workspace in a high-quality studio. Whether you're working independently on a new series, experimenting with special techniques, or further developing your own style, our studio offers the ideal environment.

Period

The period for the Open Studio runs from January 20, 2025, to July 4, 2025. After this period, we will evaluate, and a new period may follow, starting from August 18, 2025.

Facilities and Benefits

Fully equipped workspace: Wheel, work tables, slab roller, reclaim tables, storage options, plenty of daylight, and an inspiring atmosphere.

Firing Your Work

At NOMO Ceramics, the firing of your ceramic work is included in the price. Our staff carefully loads and unloads the kilns to ensure that your creations are fired safely and optimally. To promote quality and safety, it is not allowed to load or unload the kilns yourself.

Use of Clay and Glaze

To promote the quality of your workpieces and the safety of our equipment, we ask that clay and glazes be purchased at our studio.

We offer a carefully selected range of high-quality materials. Our prices are comparable to those of a wholesale, ensuring you get good materials at reasonable prices.

It is not allowed to bring clay and glazes from outside without consultation. This is to minimize the risk of damage to our kilns and workpieces. Different types of clay and glazes can cause unforeseen reactions during firing, which can lead to defects or even dangerous situations. By using our range, we can guarantee consistent quality and a safe working environment for everyone.
