Refine your technique with porcelain
Would you like to get acquainted with porcelain, or take your technique to the next level? During this porcelain course, the focus is on understanding and mastering this refined material.

What can you expect?
During this 3-day course, you will work intensively with porcelain on the pottery wheel. Through targeted exercises, you will learn how porcelain behaves differently from stoneware or earthenware. You will work on control, precision, and feel, while primarily gaining valuable wheel time.

Throwing Experience is a Must!

This course is suitable for participants who already have experience throwing, but want to learn or refine the technique specifically for porcelain. It is essential that you already have experience with wheel throwing and centering clay.

What to Bring

Experience: Basic wheel-throwing skills are required.
Materials: Please bring your own tools. You can also purchase a starter tool set in our shop on site. Don’t forget your apron and a towel.
Lunch: Please bring your own lunch; we provide coffee, tea, and water.
A free block of porcelain will be ready for you at the start of the course; additional porcelain can be purchased in our atelier shop on site.

What you will take home in the end:
