Push Your Limits and Learn to Turn Faster
Do you want to make a significant improvement in your turning technique in a short time? During this intensive 4-day summer course, we emphasize practicing and gaining flight hours. No production, no pieces to take home, but a lot of experience and new insights into your own turning technique.

What to Expect?
In four days, you'll refine and enhance your turning skills through ten challenging exercises. Each exercise is aimed at increasing your control over clay and pushing your own boundaries. You'll not only learn how to shape forms but also how to improve your technique for the long term.

This intensive summer course is suitable for both beginners and advanced learners. You will be guided step by step, regardless of your experience, so you can get the most out of the course.

What to Bring

Experience: Basic turning skills are required.
Supplies: Bring your own tools. You can also buy a basic toolset at our shop on site. Don't forget your apron and a towel.
Lunch: Bring your own lunch, we'll provide coffee, tea, and water.
A free block of clay (10kg) is ready for you at the start, more clay can be bought in our ateliershop.
A free lump of clay will be ready for you on arrival

Focus on Practice

The goal of this intensive week is not production but to make as many flight hours as possible. We focus on quality over quantity, ensuring that you fine-tune your technique with each exercise.

What You'll Take Home:

Although the focus is on practice, you may choose one masterpiece that we will continue to refine for you, fire twice, and glaze with a glossy white glaze. You can then pick it up after 4-5 weeks. Additionally, you will take home a wealth of experience and have taken your pottery technique to the next level.
