Ceramics Teacher

Are you our new pottery instructor (or studio assistant)? We’re looking for enthusiastic and experienced instructors, substitute teachers, and studio assistants. Do you have a passion for ceramics and would you like to put your knowledge or experience to use in an inspiring environment? Then we’d love to hear from you!

Vacancy: Ceramics Teacher (Pottery)

Are you an experienced ceramicist with a passion for pottery? Do you want to share your knowledge and skills with enthusiastic students in Eindhoven? Then we are looking for you!

What will you do?

  • You guide ceramic classes and/or workshops (wheel throwing and/or handbuilding).
  • Classes last 2.5 hours and are taught to groups of up to approximately 14 participants.
  • You may be scheduled for fixed course series (around 20 weeks), individual workshops, or as a substitute teacher.
  • Depending on your role, you will also assist with preparation, clean-up, and ensuring workshops run smoothly.

Who are you?

  • You have a passion for this magnificent craft
  • You master all necessary turning techniques and have excellent material knowledge.
  • You hold a bachelor-level diploma in the field or have equivalent experience.
  • You have experience teaching both beginner and advanced students.
  • You are enthusiastic, communicatively strong, and know how to inspire students.

About NOMO Ceramics

Nomo Ceramics is a ceramics studio founded by Charlotte van den Brand and Ben Chini. A place where creatives can practice their craft through workshops, courses, and independent work in our open studio. We opened the doors of our brand new 300m2 studio in January 2025.
